About
Dedication
Healing of the Hearts is a ministry that is founded on the Word of God. This work is lovingly and humbly dedicated to the Lord. Our goal is to honor God in this work and to share His love with the lost and hurting. All of the glory and honor belongs to Him.
Psalms 115:1 – – “Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for Thy truth’s sake.”
Purpose
Our purpose is to share the Word of God and the message of salvation, healing, deliverance, recovery, and liberty through Christ.
Throughout His life, Jesus encountered hurting people from various walks of life. Some were isolated from their family members, some experienced great heartache in their love-life, some had children who dealt with major forms of oppression, some had sibling rivalry issues, some dealt with financial issues, some were considered outcasts, and some seemed to have it all together although they really did not. Jesus loved people enough to give them the truth so that they could be made whole, and His love continues to set people free and make them whole.
We believe in the whole gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that God’s Word is the truth and that the truth sets people free from all types of bondage. Our prayer is that God uses this ministry as an extension of His ministry to heal the hearts of mankind and to love people into His family. Our goal is to see souls made whole.
John 8:36 – – “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

From the Heart of Charisma – – the backstory of “Healing of the Hearts”
“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.”
Prov. 19:21 (NIV)
As a teenager, one of my career goals was to become a cardiologist. This specialty was dear to me because of how heart disease impacted my family. Two of my grandmothers, my Great-Grandma Eva (maternal) and my Grandma Gloria (paternal) were part of my career inspiration. They suffered with heart complications. While I was blessed to have my Great-Grandma Eva in my life for over 18 years, I did not meet my Grandma Gloria. I grew up hearing stories of how she was such a beautiful lady and of how she had died of a massive heart attack when her children were still young. In my young teenage eyes, I felt that becoming a cardiologist was a way that I could fight against the disease that negatively impacted the lives of my grandmothers. That was my plan; however, God had a different plan.
“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”
Psalm 147:3 (KJV)
Although becoming a cardiologist was not the direction that God had for my life, I learned that it was not far from His plan. Instead of working on the physical heart, God’s plan for me was a healing ministry aimed at the spiritual heart, the emotional heart, and the souls of mankind.
“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
II Tim. 1:6-7
Over the course of time, the LORD used many men and women of God to speak into my life. Many of them gave hints, but it took much time, prayer, and preparation to see and understand the bigger picture that God had in mind. When I think of all of the words of encouragement over the years, the lengthy seasons of preparation and trials that I endured, it all makes sense now. I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve God and minister to His precious people through the Healing of the Hearts.
